At your appointment, you will be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions. You will be listened to and supported without being judged or criticised.
You will be helped to gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to problems.
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
Sometimes the term "counselling" is used to refer to talking therapies in general, but counselling is also a type of therapy in its own right.
YOUNG PEOPLE
Counselling lets you talk about how you feel, separate from school and home life and can help you get back to enjoying life. Young People's Counselling is for any young person who's having problems. Whether it's depression and mental health concerns or issues with parents or people at school.
